Little Malvern Farms Paddock Maintenance UTV (Utility-Terrain Vehicle) is a Honda Pioneer 520 4×4 utility vehicle (gator) with flotation tyres. Weighing only 650Kg it has little to no ground compaction when working on grassland. The UTV is fitted out with the latest Ontrak GPS system this enables us to accurately map your fields to make sure we give an accurate coverage over everything when spraying, fertilising and overseeding. Species such as docks, nettles, buttercups and ragwort can often be seen where horses graze. If left alone, they will eventually take over the whole field and are usually a sign of worn-out or damaged pasture that has been overgrazed. Ragwort can be particularly dangerous, becoming lethal to horses in certain cases.
