Fertilising
There are many types of fertilisers out there and they all provide a different purpose. We generally use two types, Nitrogen only which is the most popular and cheapest option. Nitrogen is great for boosting grass growth after the cold winter months. Fertilising must be carried out in moderation so as not to increase the protein levels to much. Fertilising can help reduce the weed population as some weeds such as buttercups often take over the grass in poor soil conditions, you may notice this in flooded areas.

Flailing (Cut & Collect)
Flailing also helps to stop weeds from seeding when they are too mature to be sprayed, overgrown grass that is flailed also improves new grass regrowth. Flailing is generally carried out from summer onwards after birds and other habitats have finished nesting, it is often preferred over spraying for the control of weeds where people do not wish to use chemicals on their land or have organic contracts.
Topping Weeds and Overgrowth
Take control of overgrown grass and weeds. We can top/cut overgrowth of any length and thickness (up to 10ft tall!!). Topping overgrowth can keep your grazing healthy, maintain the essential nutrients in your grass and can avoid weeds getting out of control.
