Flailing

During the Flailing process, we use our 2.8-metre front-mounted Spearhead Flail to turn the nettles, weeds and scrubs into mulch for your land. Mulch is chopped up pieces of organic material and by creating this, it encourages new grass to grow and prevent a build-up of brambles, doc leaves and nettle etc.

Topping

Our topping services are used topping off seed heads or stubbles and tidying or topping off unruly weeds and grassland. Topping works best on rough paddocks and will be carried out by our 4.6m wide topper behind a tractor, leaving 4-6 inches of tidy grass

Harrowing & Over Seeding

Through our harrowing and rolling services, we can help you in a number of ways. We can harrow grassland to remove moss, dead grasses and weeds. This helps flatten divots, stimulates new growth and rejuvenates the grass sward. . The harrow is 6m wide and can drag horse droppings about spreading the impact to otherwise untouched areas. We can also harrow with a grass seeder blower to over-seed or reseed tired grassland

Fencing

If it’s fencing services you need we’ve got you covered. We offer a full paddock fencing service including gateways and the installation of stiles and footpaths. We use local materials, such as chestnut, where possible and work with companies supplying sustainable coppiced Chestnut Stakes, Strainers and Local Gate Manufacturers. We can also lay hard surfaces around your gateway to reduce poaching by hoves and machines.

Rolling

When it comes to rolling grass, we have a roll that presses down molehills, and helps to reduce the unleveled ground created by hooves or harsh, wet winters. This process also rolls new seeds into the ground to stimulate growth.

Fertiliser Spreading

Carried out with a Honda ATV Pioner spreader on a tractor we can apply Nitrogen, Phosphate and Potash to your paddock. This helps to increase the yield, giving the grass a chance to compete with weeds etc.
